Winter is Here...In March

Finally the snow came...And in a big way. Here at the Kat Kompound we've got 7 and a half inches, and the snow is still falling. This is the largest snowfall I've seen since being in Roanoke. Back in the winter of 2000 in Richmond we had about this much if not more. I love it. Snow is the only thing I miss from living in upstate NY. Here are some pictures. My roommate's SUV was stuck halfway in the road and he got a flat tire to boot.

Down my street. We're always the last to get plowed. Just before taking this shot a car slid backwards down the hill.


Up my street. It's pretty hilly.


My wonderful view out the back of the house. There's a little valley that looks wonderful when it snows.
