Something Other Than Idol
When the majority of the US votes you into office as the President, that means most people agree with what you're doing. That doesn't seem clear to Hillary Clinton who said Saturday that President Bush and his "radical" administration would cause "irreparable harm" to the country.
So if most people agree with what the President says over what Democrats say, Hillary is calling most of the united states radical. Nice. Lets vote for her as the next president. (note the sarcasm in my writing)
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton blasts President Bush and his "radical" administration on Saturday for attempting to dismantle the "central pillars of progress in our country during the 20th century."Looking into my magic crystal ball...it looks like more problems for the dems.
Clinton makes the comments to Saturday editions of the HOUSTON CHRONICLE, sources tell DRUDGE.
The former first lady says she has become convinced the Republican administration wants "to undo the New Deal," the Roosevelt-era policies that ushered in Social Security and a host of other governmental assistance programs.
She said that Bush, who campaigned as a "compassionate conservative" in 2000, had taken a "hard-right turn to pursue an extremist agenda" after moving into the White House.
"I don't know where it came from, but the fact is that this President Bush has not only been radical and extreme in terms of Democratic presidents but in terms of Republican presidents, including his own father," she says.
She believes Bush is beatable next year because his administration is "making America less free, fair, strong, smart than it deserves to be in a dangerous world."
"We have to change direction before irreparable harm is done," she adds.
"This administration is in danger of being the first in American history to leave our nation worse off than when they found it."

Just a clarification on this --
She was not calling all of the people that voted for the President radical, she said that he campagined on a certain platform (which is the platform people based their votes) and then shifted positions -- from "compassionate conservative".
Not trying to start an arguement -- just thought they way you drew conclusions was a bit misguided. :)
Good point...but she was talking about 2000...not last year. So he took the turn after he was elected the first time...and then was voted into office again after becoming radical? The way I read it is she's insulting the people who voted for him the second time.
"She said that Bush, who campaigned as a "compassionate conservative" in 2000, had taken a "hard-right turn to pursue an extremist agenda" after moving into the White House."
