Why Have We Not Heard About This?
The Roanoke Times had an article over the weekend about the Burger King on Franklin Road. Apparently a man says he found a rodent tail in his burger.
When I heard this news I was disgusted. I had eaten there two days before the lawsuit was filed. But that's not the worst part. THE BURGER THAT ALLEGEDLY HAD THE RAT TAIL IN IT WAS FOUND IN AUGUST.
Why was this not in the news until now? Why have people eaten at that restaurant for more than a month and a half without knowing what could have happened there? WHY DO FINGERS IN A BURGER MAKE THE NATIONAL NEWS BUT NOT A RODENT TAIL? I'd much rather eat someone's finger than a rat.

What I would wonder is just how many rodents have been consumed over the years ... And actually, how many burgers contain other rodent parts as well as entrails. Perhaps this is where that "unique flavor" comes from.
Can you imagine finding something like that in your burger? That is just plain disgusting, not to mention extremely disturbing. My stomach is turning at the very thought.
This sounds like a cover-up in progress. It demonstrates what these big corporations are capable of doing. Otherwise I'm sure the press would be all over this one. An alleged rodent tail? What happened to the rest of the rodent. why is this not as publicized as the finger in a burger? I would much rather find a finger than a disease ridden rodent tail. Then to top it off, what if the company regularly poison the rodents? Should that be the case, wouldn't that same poison be in the burgers? So it's not just the issue of finding a rodent tail in the burger? Could it be there is also rodent poison laced into those same burgers which contain the rest of this rodent? What other foreign objects are in these burgers? Rodent poop, Roaches? Flies & maggots? A cat or two? (really appetizing, isn't it?) Isn't there such a thing as quality control? Or are they just interested in making another buck, hiring imports and paying them bottom dollar? While saying who cares what we serve, the public will never know! I for one DO CARE what I eat.
I would be angry as heck. I hope whoever this guy is hangs in there and takes them them to the cleaners in a manor of speaking and not let cooperation's like this sweep this incident under the rug. Something needs to be done to get these large corporations to sit up and take notice. Who knows, even clean up their act. They are supposed to be serving the public, not letting foreign objects be introduced into what they serve, especially RODENTS!!!! When I want a fast food burger, I would like to think it was processed in a clean environment. If this is no longer the case, I will no longer eat their fast food burgers or anything they serve. I used to be a regular customer there, eating their burgers and other assorted items for lunch or even later in the evening. I haven't eaten there since. Yes, the Burger King I used to frequent is the one on Franklin Road. Never again!!!
