My Lifelong Dream
One of my dreams came true a couple of weeks ago. I got my motorcycle license.
I took the class at Virginia Western to get the license. In fact...I got a 98 on the written test, and a perfect score on the riding test. I was the only one in the class to get the top score.
It's a really fun course and it only costs about 70 bucks for in-state tuition. Then you have to go to the DMV and take a written test. Believe me...Once you pass the test at the class, it's a cake walk at the DMV.
Now all I have to do is get a bike. If you have one I can practice on in the spring...post a comment.

I rode a Harley~Davidson Electraglide for a few years on the PD... Until my spouse (ex now) forced me to leave the unit.
I always wanted on for myself, and it's sort of ironic that when I could afford a HD Electraglide, I wasn't "allowed" to have one, now I can have and bike I want, I can't afford one...
Smelly, as soon as I sell my car I'm getting a dirt bike with blinkers (dualSport). You can ride it. I'm signed up to take the class in April.

I'm 58 yrs. younggggggg and I too just took the classes at Va. Western and now have my license. I'm a female and I've always wanted my lic. I made 100 on my written test. The instructor took off 1 pt. when I just started to put my foot down but i didn't on the road test. I guess we're not supposed to be perfect.
Maybe in the spring we both will be riding. Be super careful remember the instructor said you have to watch everyone else while riding.
